Best Time to Visit Ghorepani Poonhill Trek

When planning your trek, the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons offer the most favorable conditions. Here’s why:

Spring (March to May)

  • Mild and stable weather with moderate temperatures
  • Rhododendron forests in full bloom, creating a vibrant landscape
  • A comfortable environment for trekking, with moderate daytime temperatures and cooler evenings

Autumn (September to November)

  • Considered the best time for trekking in Nepal, with clear skies and excellent visibility
  • Pleasant temperatures during the day, with cooler nights at higher altitudes
  • Ideal conditions for capturing stunning mountain views

While these seasons offer the best trekking conditions, it’s important to be prepared for the unpredictable nature of the mountains. Monsoon season (June to August) can bring heavy rainfall, making the trails slippery, and winter (December to February) can bring cold temperatures and snow, making trekking more challenging.
